From Flanker6 in the Far Cry Gaming section: Now where would one find NPC encounters and their spawn distance in FC4? This sounds like it could be a pretty decent mod!

an up date for my request would be 1st, the loot bag notification an example, at 97pc for a 120 pc bag and after every kill would keep letting u know the limit was approaching, maybe that could be lowered to start notification at 5 pcs left before full for all sizes,
Bo, mentioned the buzzer at the first outpost being removed I can go either way with that, would make taking a fortress a priority in my case to get the buzzer which is cool, my first outpost wine is about the vehicles that just do an endless loop right there
the karma system, I don't see why we ( opps AJ) has to take a -50 point hit for folks on foot that become startled and run in front of us (him) when using a vehicle or elephant if that has to remain maybe that could be lowered to something more reasonable like -1, after all they have to take some responsibility for their action ,lol
ammo wrangler speed is ok for all, but for the sig cannon revolver the trigger pull is atrocious, should be more like the 1911 sandman imho

The access to the North is 1000 minutes in my game, not 100 hours.

Correct, Jimbo - it's just a typo. S*** happens.

At first, all mods but the 1.9 ones require the 1.8 files. If you want to play Yeti 1.9 is the only mod version working. Request 1: Try FC4 Attachments Unlocked v1.8.0 at www.nexusmods.com/farcry4/mods/9/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffarcry4%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D9&pUp=1That will come quite close to what you are looking for. It is the last (fourth) file in the list. If you want to take a look at the code yourself there is a section of this forum with modding tutorials. The shop file has a variable that is called UnlockOnMissionComplete="" If there is a content between the "" it has to be deleted. That will make all weapons available form the start, only exception are the signature weapons that need special actions to be acomplished, to be available in the store. Request 2: The beta 20 6-1-1-1 has a reworked timer. Instead of 10 seconds you now have 100 hours until the game throws you back. Its not perfect, but it is the only solution right now that lets you enter and stay in the North before the "Bridge to the North" mission. Request 3+4: sorry, no chance to solve this until we get our hands on the code, what will not happen. Its basically the game realocating memory when you leave one map cell and enter the next. The game will then automatically delete the player generated content of the cell before last (the one you can`t see anymore) and reset it to standard. ThnX for the info. At this time I'm not interested in update 1.9 in combination with the Yeti expansion. I wil give the Attachements Unlock a try. Hopefully I can unlock the auto-cross with that. I had no idea that beta 20 6-1-1-1 has the partially-unlock-North option. I give it a try. Request 3 and 4: I guess I have to live with that. I'm wondering: when I install this mod it will overwrite FC4E. But I want to play with FC4E.

Yes, it will overwrite FC4E. If you want to give it a try, there are modding tutorials on this forum, where you can learn how to customize the mod to your liking.

Unfortunately I've got no time to look into that. Change of plan. With the latest FC4E I can stroll in the Northern section for a long time. It's a challenge for me to unlock all belltowers which unlocks the auto cross. I'm not interested in other weapons right now.

I've liberated all 17 bell towers, but still no autocross in the weapon list. What am I doing wrong?

If you zip up your patch_hd.dat & patch_hd.fat and put them on dropbox or somewhere I can take a look (unless you know exactly which version it was then I should still have the originals)

No problem. I play with version FC4E_Hardcore_020_6_1_1
And another thing: A few days ago I fired up FC4 and from one moment to another all loot and skin animations don't work anymore. (I've played many months without any problem.) When I want to skin a dead animal the text 'Skin' appears on screen, but the animation is gone. The skinned object appears in my loot back though. It's hard for me to check if the skin or loot action is successfull. Is this problem mod or game related?

Thanks. I'll try to look at the autocross settings after work for FC4E_Hardcore_020_6_1_1 and see what is what in there. It seems weird to me that I had it set to 17 towers. That should be the Bushman that unlocks with 17 towers. If anything the autocross is locked by a certain later game mission... but that is easy enough to change. Regarding the loot animations they can be turned off in the options menu now, but because of a bug with the text changes I did in the mod the label for the menu entry is blank. It's in General -> Options Right underneath Camera Tagging (which might also be missing it's text string). In an unmodded game it looks like this: If your's is missing just go to the third line down from Game Difficulty and hover over it. You should then be able to use the little arrows to switch the animations back on. If it becomes too hard to change it you can temporarily remove the mod, change the option and put the mod back in. Why they suddenly turned off on yours is an Ubi mystery. Either they switched when Uplay updated your game, something happened with your gamerprofile.xml (because I think it can be set there as well) or you may have accidentally switched them because you couldn't see these menu text labels. Far Cry also just "does stuff" sometimes when it feels like it so who knows.

ThnX J for the quick respons ánd for the animation tip! Now I remembered that the other day I had to activatie the camera tagging function to do a specific action. The text for 'Camera Tagging' and 'Disable Loot Animation' was indeed invisible. Ultimately after some fiddling I had the camera tagging function enabled. Apparently I had disable unintentional tha animation function in the process. ThnX to your screenshot this works again!
I'm curious about the auto cross issue. Take your time!

Apparently I had disable unintentional tha animation function in the process. ThnX to your screenshot this works again! I'm curious about the auto cross issue. Take your time! So I downloaded 20_6_1_1 from Nexus and unpacked it to see how it was set and as I suspected the Auto-Crossbow is set to a late campaign game mission rather than the towers. As I can imagine you not wanting to work even more to try and get it I removed the mission lock on it and re-packed the files. If you want you can download these from here: www.dropbox.com/s/4k6bb6ilerp6w7x/FC4E_Hardcore_020_6_1_1_REV.zip?dl=0Just extract this modified patch_hd.dat and .fat and you should be good to go with the autocrossbow. I would back up your existing patch_hd.dat and .fat that you are currently using though in case for some reason the game gives you problems and you need to go back to them. However once you unlock something in the game it stays unlocked so it should work just fine even if you do need to go back. Good luck!

Problem solved! When I start up FC4 the first thing I see: Unlocked Autocross! After that I'd overwrite the .dat and .fat files with the original 20_6_1_1 files and guess what: autocross was gone from the weapon list. So I went back to the revised files, fire up FC4 and bought the autocross with all needed accessories. Then I closed the game and replaced the fat and dat files again with the 20_6_1_1 files. After the startup the autocross is still in the weapon wheel. ThnX J for this great support!
