Hello Ghosts
Sorry for the delay. This will likely be my last leak post on GRW. To be honest the game holds little interest for me anymore. The decisions Ubi have made over the course of this title are beyond baffling to me. PvP is especially unappealing. What I've uncovered and seen others leak is... well... disheartening. It looks to be bland with little tactics, unbalanced gameplay (artillery in PvP? seriously?) and little to no innovation. I've seen none of those amazing new weapons lists I originally leaked. No depth at all to the game. It's just 4 v 4 deathmatch with no tactical decision making. I hope they will fix it by official launch or at least add more modes, but I'm not holding my breath or waiting around. There are many new games on the horizon I would rather spend my time with.
Anyway having said all of that here is what you can take away from Update 7:
I could find no new season challenge background. Doesn't mean there won't be one. Either an image that's already in there like a landscape or an image coming in a future update (or I missed it). Or maybe when PvP comes out seasonal challenges will wind down. Dunno.
Gladiator was revealed to be a store pack. Spirit is actually 2 store packs - Warrior and Tracker:
Warrior
Tracker (M40A5 custom "Golden Sun" - possibly the Warrior pack comes with an M4A1 Golden Sun)
There are some store packs coming with collections of items already found in other packs.
"Military Set"
"Military Paints"
"Warrior Paints"
Also another combo pack of Season Challenge items
The mysterious leaked masks are in the files but I don't see a store or reward icon for them yet.
There is a patch to go with the devil mask. It (and the texture for the devil mask) are called "El Tio" for whatever that is worth:
The other mask I can only find the texture for and it's simply called CP_HeadGear_DLC2_BallisticSkull. Of special note is that DLC2 is internal code for the items marked for PVP. So this item may be a multiplayer item or reward. The diffuse texture shows how much this mask actually looks very much like the Ghost Recon logo:
