I assume somewhere, and I'm still looking, there's a file which stores the character "profile" you created to start a new game. I assume that would be needed for loading a previous save file should you decide to switch from male to female, for example, on a new start and then start copying save files from the new run.
Should you change outfits, surely that gets stored somewhere. So it stands to reason if you want to switch back to a previous save game file of a "different" character, you'll need to also overlay the old profile file.
Hope I've been clear enough. Anyone looked yet and discovered that part of the file layout system for 5?

Save game will be a logical media to store such information But the problem is that save games don't look like anything we've seen in previous titles.

Logical it would be indeed. Then there'd be no issue of switching save files which might be of different character profiles as it pertains to different playthoughs.

I take it you know where your FC 5 save game is located?

Yeh Mike it will almost 100% be stored in the save file rather than a separate file. I know that seems counterintuitive, but that's how they would previously store if you were in say the privateer outfit in FC3. When we looked at the FC4 saves they contained seemingly EVERYTHING. So indeed save switching will alter the personal look of the deputy. Although the only features you cannot change in the game are the gender (male/female) and the base face. The hair, outfits, etc can all be altered at any weapon store. On that note I wanted to let any of you guys who did purchase GRW know that they FINALLY have decided this year (season 2) they are going to implement changing the outfits and looks of your 3 AI companions (as if changing their looks will make them any less annoying )

Okay guys, thanks. Based on the save file size(s) in the FC series, wouldn't have thought "that" much info was contained within.

I can't begin to count the times I've been pulling some Roadwarrier **** on an enemy vehicle/convoy; effected the stop; jumped out with my elite Special Forces Team AI only to have the bad guys and myself be the only ones shooting. FAIL! Of course the "Team" is helping somewhat by becoming Captain Obvious; "You're taking fire; take cover!" or some such other useful advice/moral support!
