Anyone else giving (or are going to give) this a whirl?
Got about 15-20 mins into it so far. Very similar to AC Origins--though it runs a little slower at the same GFX settings (great looking game world--no surprise there)--getting used to the control scheme. Looks like you HAVE to lock on to enemies; rather than being able to "free fight". Hoping I'm wrong on that one.

Personally I still have to finish the last one and clear out Egypt No new games until Christmas for me alas. How has it been playing for you? Is it worth getting or wait until it's on sale??

AC Odyssey and some other pretty great price cuts if anyone is looking to pick up some extra Christmas gifts for themselves LOL www.greenmangaming.com/games/assassins-creed-odyssey-pc/Use code GMG12 for an extra 12% off. I went ahead and bought it since the total price came down to $26.40 which is the lowest I've seen it yet EDIT: Also the GMG12 code looks like it works with any games on sale so you could also (or instead) pick up for example: * Assassin's Creed Odyssey Deluxe Edition for $35.20 * Assassin's Creed Origins Deluxe Edition for $20.33 * Far Cry 5 for $21.12 * Far Cry 5 Season Pass for $10.56 (includes Far Cry 3) * Far Cry 4 Gold for $10.56 * Far Cry Primal for $14.96 * Far Cry Blood Dragon for $5.28 * Ghost Recon Wildlands for $15.40 or Gold for $24.64 etc. Pretty good deals for Ubisoft games though they do frequently go on sale... still this is as low as I have seen some drop due to the extra -12% off Also some Non-Ubi games with good(ish) price points: * PREY for $12.54 * PREY Mooncrash for $8.36 * Shadow of the Tomb Raider for $23.76 or Croft Edition for $35.64 * Just Cause 4 for $38.01 * X-COM 2 for $11.88 or Collection for $31.68 (includes all the DLC including War of the Chosen and the new Tactical Legacy pack) * Middle-earth: Shadow of War for $13.46 or Definitive Edition for $28.50 * Civ VI for $11.88 or Gold Edition for $31.68 * GTA V for $12.54 Lots of other stuff on sale as well... didn't even look at the Dying Light or Sniper Ghost 3 prices, etc. I'm sure all of the games we typically discuss here are on sale as well.

I haven't played going on a couple months. After ? many hours of play----I found this edition kind of tedious. Not sure what the heck the deal with is the faction/provinces (Sparta/Athens) as a couple provinces suddenly switched back to Sparta; after I'd gone through all the motions of whipping their ***** and winning the province for Athens. Kinda rendered all my strategy and effort meaningless. If only it had guns and explosives!
