I confess it's been a very long time since I looked at the bow mod. I'll have to try and see if I can puzzle out what the deal is with it (or if I can convert it to the latest patch). I honestly don't remember what all I did inside it...

No problem.
Many mods can be combined but when it comes to adding new weapons it's a lot trickier. The game looks for specific weapon IDs and these IDs have to be specified in more than one file (hence why I don't remember exactly what and where I adjusted things for the bow mod). If two weapons have conflicting IDs it can cause crashes or freezes. Also the newer patches had a larger shop file and we've found problems with using an older modified shop file with the newer patches (this occurred after they added valley of the yeti - for some reason Ubi decided it was "better" to add duplicates of nearly every weapon just for valley of the yeti into the shop file AND they added new designations for yeti shops and yeti sherpas to every item/weapon... which makes no sense to me... anyway it's complicated, but the point is mixing old and new mods that alter the shop and/or add new weapons can cause problems - they have to be hand adjusted in the files and there are literally hundreds of lines to adjust... which is why many old mods - at least mine - have never been properly updated).
I'll try to find time to look at it, but no promises as IRL stuff takes precedence (and clearly I'm dragging my feet about digging through that old code... I don't have a lot of hair left you know)
