Hey Guys, So while playing around with my open word mod I hit some odd bugs with prior saves. Now this is not all that unusual when using old saves and I typically advocate NOT using saves from other mods, etc. but these saves were I believe from the vanilla game. The issue was - I wanted to start at the Ghale house and fly over to the Arena (What? It wasn't for boobs! Honest!) The first problem was I couldn't get out the front door of Ajay's house. O.o I loaded in the house and the front door was disabled. Couldn't interact with it. So I tried fast traveling but the fast travel icon for the arena was missing (hmmmm) I fast travelled to safe house and tried returning to the Ghale house, but it was still not active. Then I flew over to the arena and it too was "disabled". Both of these were on a late game save so they should have been open and working. Now I'm worried my North "unlock" has unforseen consequences with unlocking other areas of the game. I need anyone who has a save BEFORE unlocking Ajays house to maybe give it a go and see if it unlocks as it should once you get to that point in the campaign and then the same thing for the arena (which occurs pretty much right after you meet Yogi & Reggie in your house for the first time) Can anyone give it a spin and see if things unlock correctly and more importantly STAY unlocked after you save and leave the game? Any help, testing, etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hi jr, i just got to Ghale & Yogi house last night and had been doing various saves along the way over the past few days in the open world version, door i had to get in the right spot to open was a little to far to the left then right, hadn't been listening for the noise that is made when your in the sweet spot , the house upgrades worked , i had gone to the arena but stopped by the store instead of the safe house after the arena episode, i have been using a save that i made that had, a full loot bag and vest just going in to Banapur(hate going into town broke) but can't remember if it was from ver 17 or open world, i had no problem going into the north to the logging camp and others, for final upgrade quests and a few belltower worked in open world, i will try 1 of the saves from Ver 17 not sure how long along i am in it when left it, or your saved game file u posted starting in Banapur a while back, when i get home if there are no honey do's "(What? It wasn't for boobs! Honest!)" surrrrre, for what it's worth Citra's were better

Haha thanks Willy! Let me know how you make out. If everything is good then it just must be my save file is messed up (which is why I'm not supposed to be using saves from other mods - duh! I know this, but I'm a lazy dog some times) Be sure to test you can fast travel TO Ajays house and also TO the arena, but I'm betting it's working OK cause from your description it sounds like it is

Did a test using a vanilla save pre- "Arrival" (post - "Madness"), did the mission again, and everything worked correctly - in and out of the door and fast travel went smoothly.
However no JRavens mod message while game loaded however.
Also tried to kill a bear with the recurve bow - didn't happen, so I assume the bow remains under-powered in this mod as well.

Thanks for double checking it. Yeah weapons are all at the default vanilla settings for this mod. Bear hunting? This time of year? Oh what am I saying it's Kyrat! You're lucky a bear wasn't waiting for you in your bed

ok, I changed out the moded open world I had and put in the original u posted, and used your saved gave from while back that you u posted, after Budhra went to the household and door opened did the arena , my 9 lives didn't help me survive that took me 8 tries, (didn't flesh out the skill tree), then went to the arena save house' door opened, fast traveled back to the bazaar, and banapur, flew back to the house hold door opened did the shang-la mission(9 lives didn't help me survive that either ) fast traveled to the arena safe house, back to the house hold and to the bazaar and banapur and to house hold, all worked correctly, except all the weapon's were under powered shot a eagle with e m700 in the head and he just flew away there went 20 large, not to mention the rhino's, boy did they tear me a new one sigh , well back to the open world modded, man this test was the first time I did all the missions first to get to the household was crazy thks

Haha be sure to let us know! PS - didn't realize bontainer was replying at the same time. Good stuff. Should be all the entries you need to change. Be aware though he uses -110 on the first tier LMG ammo to balance out later additions. You might (or might not) want to go this route. Depends on how hard you want to make it on yourself
