Hi, I would like to know the pickups weapons ArchetypeId, I want to add the AJM pistol to the editor but I need that number
Is there a way to know the "Archery guard NPC" ArchetypeId? I want to add it to the editor too
Is there a way to add to the editor a weapon with attachment added, for example the mp5 with silencer?

Hey Predaaator Back to messing with Far Cry huh? So I would grab the archetype browser from here: fc4modding.janne252.com/index.php?area=toolThis will let you search for weapons and items to get their archetype numbers. "pickup" guns are going to be the same as the regular weapons. Weapons dropped by enemies have _NPC at the end of the name. Archery Guard? Not sure what that one is? The Royal Guard Hunter or Either way you can search for those guys as well. Honestly that program is your best source for finding all the archetype numbers. Attachments - no sorry no way to do this that I know of.

Thank you JRavens Yes you was right, The Royal Guard Hunter. Yes, I'm back on FC4, this time on the editor mod. In FC3 the way to increase the Outpost reinforcements was adding a rutine here ..patch_unpack\domino\user\fc3\fc3_outpost\ is there a way to get that files to do it on FC4? thx JRavens

You trying to update Fino's editor then? I tried reaching ut to him, but got no response back so I gave up. I really wanted to bring FC3 characters into Far Cry 4 (replace Ajays with Jason, DePluer with Buck, etc.) but I couldn't figure it out because the meshes are different (or some other thing). Was hoping Fino could help. Jane252 and Razor didn't know so... I've tried all the great Far Cry modders I know other than you Not really working on far Cry anymore. Moved onto Metal Gear and now I am working on Dying Light. Will probably be working on Fallout 4 after it comes out... dunno we'll see how busy I am. Might need to take a break again from modding Still I'll try to give you what advice I can (as limited as it is): OK so when I type hunter into that archetype browser I linked I get 7783079245631 for Merc/BaseMerc_FCX.Army_Hunter and 7848320311672 for Merc/BaseMerc_FCX.Guard_Hunter (Army is Royal Army and Guard is for Royal guard) Those LUA scripts for outposts are now found in: \fcc_main_unpack\domino\user\fcc\fcc_outposts\ I had trouble decoding them however. I was able to get the open world mod working by modifying a lua file, but the other ones just don't seem to work so I'm not sure Hopefully you will be able to figure it out because those outposts and fortresses are pretty boring in the original game.

I couldnt find the \fcc_main_unpack\domino\user\fcc\fcc_outposts\, when i try to decompile it give me error, i guess i have 8gb ram, if you have it could you give it to me? How did Fino add camo to the ak47 in the video? (on the botton) www.moddb.com/mods/fino4-golden-squadwhy FC3 weapons give error when i try to compile them for .fcb?

In order to unpack all the files (well as many as have been found) be sure you have the updated project files from here for rick's Gibbed Tools: fc4modding.janne252.com/index.php?area=miscHowever here are all the LUA files I have access too: www.dropbox.com/s/ilbmm04032qh8e3/domino.zipNote almost ALL of these are compressed in some format. There's a LUA decompiler tool here: fc4modding.janne252.com/index.php?area=toolBUT I couldn't get the game to recognize most of the decompiled files or at least changing them would cause problems. In Far Cry 3 we did not have this problem because the LUA files were not compressed/compiled - they were ordinary readable files. > i guess i have 8gb ram That usually isn't a problem. Be sure your path in gibbed tools and the files is very SHORT. Make a directory like C:\FC4working\ and put all the files you are working on and gibbed tools in there so the paths are very short. if the path is too long the tools will crash with an error. I haven't been able to get any FC3 files to work with FC4. Although the game LOOKS like it is just a "reskin" of Far Cry 3 it actually has thousands and thousands of new files, new coding and completely new fields added to all the .fcbs Fino did find SOME files that did work (he added some vegetation like climbing vines and some water types, etc.) but I don't think he or anyone else got any of the weapons or characters to work. Some of the weapons in FC4 still have FC3 in the name, but they have new lines of code added so they will work with the updated engine (for example the Chinese Dagger) Far Cry 4 is actually like Dunia 2.5 Far Cry Primal will probably be Dunia 2.99 This is what happens when Ubisoft uses offices in India, China, U.S. and France. Rather than try and figure out how to work with the current code the programmers just write new sections of code for whatever they need. So we end up with quite a mess to try and mod.
