Considering most members here are about as old (or older) as me and with kids, I want to find a group that actually have similar lifestyles (and life situation) for crew members.
Considering GTA 5 was released on PC yesterday and I got it. Let me know if you are playing and interested in forming a group for any kind of playing. I'm getting too old to play deathmatches and player vs player, but I'm always on for co-op missions and heists!

I am waiting until Steam has it in a bin, meaning the price drops. I have played GTA since San Andreas, and while their open world is usually fantastic, their characters are not really to my liking.

Gotcha, I guess I'll be looking at this forum if anyone is interested.
Been playing FC4 without Yeti with the 'updated' mod and then this game called GTA5 came out...
You can also always find better deal from other sources, close to 50% of the suggested price. I got mine for $35 from GMG, and less than that for FC4 too when it came out.
Pretty good if you really want to play the game. So far it's been good, and they seem to step up on the writing and the character part for this game it looks like.

I have only played single player story mode, it is much better then III & IV due to the first person mode and better game play.
- Lot of stuff to explore both on land and under water. - Fun and diverse missions. - Nice cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. - Stunning scenery and wildlife. - Hilarious characters, my favorite is "Wade Hebert"...hes comments is epic
Idiotic thing that you can only train your dogg Chop if you have a iPhone in real Life.

Ok, I did it, I got myself GTA V
Its totally boring and really not worth the money at all, if you don't want to
- ride a cable car to the top of a mountain, spend 1$ watching the gleaming city beyond you through a coinop binocular, and crash a dirt bike by underestimating the slopes going down again
- ride a rollercoaster or a feris wheel
- go into a cinema and look a truly disgusting movie
- lounge on your sofa, watch TV and smoke a cigar
- ride a jetski through real waves
- dive and find treasures on the bottom of the sea
or do all the other kind of activities I haven`t found time to do up to now.
Seriously. Its a great game if you don't play it - meaning, leaving the quest arc besides and just go gallivantig around.
As with all GTA games the story arc and the characters are something to hate, but the environment, the people and of course the cars...
The really nice thing is the total customisability. I managed (after some time) to adapt the game so it worked just like FC4. First person movement, cars with dashboards etc.
The only thing I missed was the hunting (if you don`t mind the cats and dogs running around or getting under your wheels).
From me: total recommendation for all those who have overturned each and every stone in Kyrat.

>The only thing I missed was the hunting
We have had it on PS3 for quite a while now and I've been checking out videos of the PC version (now that I have a rig that could handle it)
There is a part of the game later as the Trevor character (who's really the worst of the bunch - a psychotic redneck of sorts) where you can learn to hunt actual game (deer, wolves, etc). It's not nearly as in depth as FC3 or 4 hunting, but it is another interesting thing to do in the game.
With GTA it's the sheer SIZE of the world that is so impressive. Just like FC4 you can spend a great deal of time going from one end to the other and it all seamlessly loads.
Like you I find that the most interesting part of the game is simply wandering around and finding things to do (which generally involves crashing something into something else until eventually some kind of gunfire or melee ensues). There are tons of minigames but they lack deep tangible replay value IMO.
The heists are interesting. The humor is beyond vulgar, but I still laugh at fart jokes so yeah it's probably at my low brow level anyway.
It held my attention for a while, but there's something... lacking... about the game. I guess the story didn't draw me in very much and the free roam is more... sandboxy and less achievement driven than the Far Cry games. It's hard for me to articulate. GTA V is more "Gary's mod" and less "Half-Life 2"
Still it can be entertaining. Especially initially. I'm just not sure about long term. I am interested in trying the PC version which does seem to have a lot more features and very improved graphics, but I don't want to spend a big chunk of change on a game I essentially already own.
Modding for the PC version is on the horizon with some trainer type mods already released so I foresee a large amount of mods once they break the file formats. There were many for GTA IV so I would expect the same for V.
