Anyone buy this yet? I can't find a PC version for sale?? It looks like you have to buy it for Xbox One and it comes with a free code for a Windows 10 down load??
UPDATE: Disregard................it is available at the MS Store as a Windows 10 DL...............................lot of bitching about it's performance on PC though. Not sure if it's a game issue, or if the complainers just aren't up to spec for running the game properly.........................think I'll wait a few days to see how it sorts out.
UPDATE 2: Here are links to a couple of QB PC version reviews:
www.pcgamesn.com/quantum-break/quantum-break-pc-release-time
and
www.pcworld.com/article/3051795/software/quantum-break-pc-performance-running-fine-windows-store-flaws-aside.html
I haven't purchased this game; not sure if 10 hours of SP content (including approx 80 mins of TV show content) is worth $60.00 US. You should also note it will take up 42GB of HDD space, and if you want to watch the TV show content in between the game episodes/levels; that is 75GB that is streaming content only @ 4k rez!! Meaning you'll need a HONKING internet connection for it to run smoothly, and not take forever to buffer. Be advised!
Both of the reviewers above; to some degree, commented unfavorably on the MS Store as the only means to purchase and run the game--another issue to think about.
I'm off to Youtube to see if I can scare up some PC video of QB to watch.
UPDATE 3: Sheesh......what an afternoon! I found one German recent video of QB PC (max settings per the vid poster) footage on YT: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pLA_CEB7XY
I then spent a nightmarish two hours attempting to purchase a Windows 10 copy of the game from the MS Store. Click on the purchase button--get a featureless dark gray screen, or a "We've experienced a problem--please try to log in again prompt--then the dark gray screen instead of the log in screen. 25 attempts later--I make it through all that to the payment screen; select PayPal; I return to the MS Store screen when prompted to by PayPal---no order #, or link to down load. Check my e mail and PP account to see if there's a record of purchase---there wasn't. Go back to the MS Store; get ahold of "Live Chat"; spend 20 mins with them trying to figure out what went wrong----only to be told at the end; "We don't offer a PC version of QB for sale at our store" . At least they couldn't see me giving the comp screen the finger at that point . Wait 15 minutes for my temper to cool down----try to purchase the game ONE MORE TIME..........holy snikees Batman! I made it (bit odd seeing as how they didn't have a PC copy for sale!---moron!). DLing game as I type.......................very slow DL BTW! Many others (at MS Store) complaining of very slow DL speeds and/or broken DL connection (please Lord! Not me!).
There was some good news...............................for Uplay...........................at least they're not the WORST gaming client/purchase experience I've ever had anymore! I have a brand new Champion for that! Hope the bleeping game is good after suffering all that!
NOTE: If you buy a copy from MS, and you want the game to install anywhere other than your C drive.....................be sure to go to your Windows 10 settings FIRST then System, then Storage and change your default installation drive prefix from C to what ever secondary drive prefix you prefer because there is NO installation path option from MS!
