I own the original cds for this game and installed them onto my Windows 10 only to find that the game would not start. I read an article on the Internet that suggests there may be some sort of DRM protection on the original .exe file, so that you have to purchase a digital version of the game and they said that installing a no cd .exe would solve the problem. I tried their suggestion and now the game works. Seems ridiculous to me that my original purchased game would not work and I had to resort to this to get it to work.

I have several hundred dollars worth of legally purchased music in .wav format. I burned them to CDs when I sold the notebook /HDD they were originally purchased on/installed to. Only to find out the embedded DRM license that came with them does not transfer with any copying of the song/s. They will work as coasters for any tasty beverage though! I was able to reactivate some of the songs by contacting customer service at WalMart; who authorized me to DL new copies of the affected songs...........................though once I'd installed them to a HDD in whatever was my then current notebook; locked the DRM license to that comp/HDD. WalMart eventually quit carrying any digital music so there was no possibility of reactivating my .wav format licenses. The best part? If I'd purchased the songs in MP3 format.....................there was NO DRM at all. So I was only presumed to be a potential thief via copying the songs and distributing them without authorization; thereby violating international copy write laws "if" they were .wavs! If they were MP3s I was considered to be scrupulously honest and allowed to copy the ******* as many times as I wanted! Glad you were able to get your game running!
