Thank you my friend Fino for this tutorial I always hate they were red, I prefer the FC3 private style, now I can differentiate armies from guards, before I could not. I will make a fix, they have too much yellow.

Looks great! Good job. Would be even better if the bright green was darker, but I know Far Cry 4 puts a funny shader on them that lightens it up (something in some of the material.bin files - it's the same thing that makes the red so bright on deault). I always had this problem when I tried to change the textures as well. Still I think what you did looks much, much better than default

Hello, I need help with textures please. I tried to edit a propaganda poster and it worked on the first attempt. I could see the changes that I had made in-game. I cannot replicate what I did anymore. Now, when I try, the poster is missing in-game. It is not showing at all. Could someone tell me what steps I need to do, or what I'm doing wrong? My steps are: - Unpack fcc_main using Gibbed.Dunia2.Unpack.exe
- Get \graphics\_singleplayer\_textures\exotic\posters\propaganda\poster_propaganda_01_d_mip0.dds
- Edit the dds file in Paint.net
- Export as DDS using paint.net in DXT1 (BC1, linear)
- Convert dds file to xbt using FCX-TexConverter.exe (This step only works if I have the poster_propaganda_01_d_mip0.tex file in the same folder as the dds file. What is a tex file and why do I need it for conversion?)
- pack patch_hd.dat using Gibbed.Dunia2.Unpack.exe
Also, unrelated but I noticed in step 2 (in the first post) it says save as DXT1. The problem is DXT1 has only 1 bit alpha channel. When I save the poster as DXT1 it messes up the poster because all the transparency is lost. I used DXTViewer to look at the original file and it says DXT5. Shouldn't we use DXT5 then for the dds file?
