This isn't exactly gaming, but something I think we can all relate to. I bought a dishwasher from a hardware store, so I yam naturally prepared mentally to 3 to 9 hours of being on my knees or back wiring and plumbing and cursing silently whilst I unsuccessfully render my new dishwasher into junk. Behold! for it fits. Everything the gal sold me works with my 33 year old house. The washer hot water hose fits and long enough, has correct fittings on ends, the wiring connector plug I can take back as have no use for plug in, it is hardwired, and the waste hose that came with it fits exactly around the corner and into my dishwasher housing.
FLABBERGASTED! Just thought I would share a good thing, since so many things aren't nowadays. I won't even have to go back and exchange and look thru exotic fittings more standard in Patagonia than Sacramento. I am grinning like the cheshire cat in that Alice thing. First time everything worked from store first thing.
EDIT (In the interest of truthfulness, I have to admit, I took the insulation off the top and sides which was one piece of nice soft styrofoam and used it to lay upon whilst installing and preparing the dishwasher for insertion into it's little cave of my cabinets. You guessed it, I put it in, made the water and waste connections then looked down and noticed that I forgot to put the insulation back on to the washer. SOOOO, I had to undo the connections, take it out of the cabinet cave, tape the insulation back on the washer, then push it back in, redo the connections, and well, it is very quiet, so it helps, but that was the only hitch, my bad. I thought things were going tooooo good!)
