This is rather strange ...
Driller (signature PKM) is shown with the following requirement for unlocking:
"Reach Level 0 (xxxxxxxxx levels remaining)"
The x's in my game currently represent a number in the high 300 millions ... 
enhanced hardcore 1.8.1 from nexusmod

Thanks Mike. Do you have the season pass and/or the pre-order version which would have given you the Driller in your game?
This along with the 87 bug you reported has me wondering if there's something not jiving with your save files... did either or both of these occur with a new play through?
I will try to start a new game once I roll back to 1.8.0 and see if I can replicate as well as check the mods shop file to see what both of these have set for locking requirements (the shop just specifies what strings to display as being required - it doesn't actually control what is required to unlock a signature weapon unlike regular weapons where the shop file DOES limit how they unlock by specifying a mission or bell tower)

My release of FC4 is the limited edition only (get the 3 Hurk missions and harpoon), so I should not see, I assume, the Driller, nor Sandman for example (which I do).
Wonder if this is back to whatever was the issue earlier with the attachments mod and the elephant gun.
Regarding my save files; FWIW, I started a new game from scratch (deleted the previous vanilla save files) with mod 1.8.1, played thru the long intro cut scenes to be sure before saving at any point. Also, just to say again, have been completely off-line since patch 1.5 with cloud sync in Uplay turned off.

No you should not see them as I reverted the shop entries back to sULC_Name="DrillerPKM" and sULC_Name="Sandman1911Pistol". Previously I had removed those which resulted in everyone being able to see and purchase them. If you can see them and you do not have the season pass then I am stumped. Far Cry's shop behavior for you has been unpredictable to say the least. This on I can't really replicate myself since I do own the season pass, but I can at least check and see if the driller says "Reach Level 0 (xxxxxxxxx levels remaining)" in my new playthrough.

Understand.
Having the season pass weapons show up on my screen doesn't impact my game play, as I won't be purchasing them in any event.
As to why, using the mod they do; well that's just more of the "joy" of dealing with ubisoft coding I guess ...
