That is cool article, would love to go there, wish I had money or jet and fuel. Kinda like being in a Newegg brick store.
YUP, Fry's and Best Buy are about the only places you can get to try out mice and keyboards here in US, it would seem that stores like that would be commonplace given the enormity of the gaming community, HOWEVER, console gamers are the ones that matter here, money-wise, it seems. There are just more of them. As far as what the guy said about Ducky brand keyboards, he is probably right about Taiwan's preference, but I am a lifelong devotee of MaxKeyboard.
MaxKeyboard quality and service are unmatched I have found. Year and a half with a LED lit BlackBird TenKeyLess Cherry Brown mid-size keyboard without one LED going out, and this is with about half having been replaced by me for color changes so my keys would be easier to find anytime for me anyway (by the way, done without any changes to resistors, I donno how they do it). Cherry keyswitches and a broad line of keycaps and accesories of all types for keyboards make them the best in my book, but I have to admit, I have not tried Ducky brand.
