I just can't seem to catch a break. First my wife, then my job and now my health... aye yi yi... I dunno what I did to piss off God/Karma/The Universe but I keep getting kicked in the balls (literally and figuratively) So apparently I have developed full blown Type 2 Diabetes. The numbers aren't bad and we caught it early. I have an A1C of 6.9 (5.7 is prediabetic and 6.5 is diabetic) so it's totally reversible and manageable. Which is great. My cholesterol is good. My BP is acceptable. Everything with my heart seems OK atm (maybe I shouldn't say that or knock on my wood head). Unfortunately my other organs are... not as healthy. I need to see some specialists and do some more tests and yadda yadda yadda. Anyway I'm not dying (yet). I mean we are all dying. We're born dying. But damn... getting old sucks ass Just wanted to vent. It feels better than yelling at the ceiling. Though I do that too :/ If I seem distracted or less involved on the forums lately it's cause (A) Far Cry 5 was a bit of a let down for me Dang Ubi and (B) these health issues that keep popping up. "But other than that Mrs Lincoln how was the play?" Hope everyone else is hanging in there! -Jeff

The priority should always be to take care of yourself Jeff, and your loved ones first.
Yeah, (A) - that's an understatement!
(B) - I understand, believe me!
You hang in there!

Hi my friend, I have problems too, but this is what help me to pass the life. 1.Read the bible and believe in God and Jesus (really,is not a joke, but I'm not religious) there you will find why we have all those problems and what to do to be stronger. I requested to God the skills to make Gygaisland and add the gadgets to the weapons in the editor (and anybody make it?), I requested him that Far Cry 4 was exactly like FC3 (I means the weapons) and He never fail me 2.Go out to the gym or walk to the park to see how wonderfull is the world, we are not alone and there are a lot of happy and unperfect people 3.Never stop to work or do what you like, there are a tons of games to play. Remember every day is a day less, dont spend the little time you have sad, ENJOY THE DRIVE. (when we are working, we want free time, and in free time we are sad, that doesnt have sense). Sorry my english, I hope you understand the point

Hey J,
Man am I sorry to hear about more trouble coming your way. That sucks. But you already knew that one. I gotta say that I'm with you on the FC5 verdict. Boy was that a gut-punch kinda let down. I did a New Game+ run on the new, harder difficulty to get the achievement but even that was laughably easy (I guess all that time playing with your mods on the previous Far Cry games just toughened me up).
Not sure what I can say to cheer you up though J. To be honest I've been having a bit of trouble on that side of things myself. Fortunately no health risks so far (knocking on that wood now). But getting old isn't for the faint of heart.
What I can say for honest and for true is, I lub joo man. You're a great guy and you've done great work that a whole bunch of people enjoy. Don't stop the rock.
P.S. - I've never had a better understanding of the phrase, "Youth is wasted on the young" than I do now. HA

Thanks man. It's been a few months now and I'm getting along... as well as I can. Health wise I'm doing ok... well at least I FEEL ok LOL. I need to see a new doctor (I moved) and have my blood work done again and see where I'm at. Mentally and physically I feel a bit better where I am then where I was when I posted the above, but I'm still struggling with lots of other crap (aren't we all???). Indeed to be young again. To turn back the clock and have so many things to do over. Sigh. PS - I'm still to this day using the very same power supply you gifted me from "so many moons ago" (LOL it feels like a million years even though it's probably only been 2 or 3) so THANK YOU man. It's survived quite a lot that the rest of my PC hasn't
