Does the Open World mod still work?

Hey everyone, I apologise if this isn't the right place to post this but figured I'd give it a try since Nexus comments rarely get responses. I'm thinking of purchasing FC4 on PC (I have it on Xbox) exclusively because of the Open World mod that allows access to everything from the beginning. However this mod hasn't been updated since 2015 for V1.10 and I can't seem to find any patch logs that tell me what patch the game is currently on after all these years. If anybody has the mod installed, does it still work in 2022? Any information on what patch the game is currently on would also be very helpful. I just don't want to play through the entire campaign to get all the gear so I'm a bit iffy on buying it again just in case the mod no longer works. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
