I know that there are quite a few dinosaur hunting games on the market, but i found this one suits me best. My MMO days are definitely over, played WOW for a few years, then LOTRO and then found that with the years the ability to suffer braindead teenagers went toward nil. Ergo, I prefer to play alone nowadays. While taking Ajay on a Yeti hunting romp I found that I would really like something similar with Dinosaurs. So I went out looking and found Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn
on Steam. Its quite new (7 weeks) was an Indie Kickstarter and feels a lot like FC3. You have several environments, 9 species of Dinosaurs of which 6 can be hunted, 3 weapons and a lot of gadgets that you can buy and improve. Its just the game you play for a 1/4 of an hour just to have some fun. Highly recommended! store.steampowered.com/app/293520/

My first actual game on a computer I built for gaming was Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. I enjoyed the heck out of that game. Can't be sure but I think it was a Celeron OCed to 450 from 300MHz, with an ATI Rage card. Prior to Dual VooDoo2s in SLI, just for 3D use, needed a seperate card for 2D stuff, which I recall playing Unreal with, now that was a major advance, along with the king of games, in my humble opinion, Half-Life. Your post was like a breath of fresh air. Just to have some fun, yep... I heartily agreee. I may check it out, thanks for the trip thru time for me.
