Hey a new patch just dropped for GRW! Wow hopefully this does the trick:
Update 1.1.5 Patch Notes Hello Ghosts,
At 8:30pm UTC 10th March, we’re going to apply a patch 1.1.5 for the PC version (Uplay & Steam) of Ghost Recon Wildlands.
This intermediary patch, is providing you with some major fixes and improvements regarding compatibility and performances.
Players in game need to reboot the game to apply the patch. Its size is up to 4 GB depending on your client.
You can still keep on playing and wait before applying the patch. An in-game notification will let you know when the patch is available.
Please note that in order to play co-op with friends, you will need to all have the same version of the game.
Please be aware that the patch will automatically download the next time you launch the game, so if you are already in a game session, you will need to reboot it to benefit from the improvements.
If you’re planning on playing tomorrow, we recommend you to preload the patch starting tonight.
Please find below an overview of main changes:
1. Multi-GPU improved support
We have been working with our partners to improve both SLI and Crossfire support. Various stuttering and graphical corruption issues have now been fixed.
2. Quad-core CPUs improved support
Several freezes and performance issues have been resolved for players using quad-core CPUs, notably Intel i5 based setups.
3. AMD graphic cards improved performances 4. Enhanced mouse navigation in store menu 5. 4K menu background scaling implemented 6. Several crash sources have been addressed 7. Improved Ansel support and fixed bugs 8. Other bug fixes & improvements.
The development team will continue to address existing issues in the next update that will be available around end of March/early April across all platforms.
Thank you again for your support, Ghosts!

Hey Willy looks like subtitles are hidden under Options -> Language I noticed the map button can't be rebound. Huh just about every other key can. Reporting that as a bug. I like map to be on Tab.

Really DUMB question about underslung grenade launchers in real life - do you have to squeeze off a shot with the trigger to fire the GL?
I've fired plenty of various kinds of guns IRL over the years, but never any military ordnance so I have absolutely zero practical experience here.
I ask because in GRW I swear my gun is firing off a suppressed round and then the grenade detonates which is... really odd feedback mechanic from a videogame stance... I'm used to games where you get a satisfying muffled ka-chunk as the launcher expels the round. If GRW is doing realistically then cool, but to me it seems... weird. Am I the only one experiencing this??

Well; I've fired many nades down range; though most were of the 37mm chemical agents variety. As far as underbarrel 40mm military types, yes there is a trigger on the back of the launcher. I'm sure you could fire the rifle and launcher simultaneously, by pulling the rifle and launcher triggers at the same time; if you were dumb enough to do so. I haven't noticed what you describe in game.............but I'll pay closer attention to it today now that you mention it. UPDATE: Unlike in most games; in real life the 40mm nades (excepting crowd control rounds like the hard rubber baton round, etc) are spin armed; they have to travel about 25m for their fuse to arm, so they'll go bang on impact. It's a safety feature to reduce consequences if a negligent discharge should occur. As an interesting side note of military humor...............my first supervisor on my first Iraq project was a former 75th Ranger. We were BSing one day, and got to talking about the negligent discharge incidents we'd encountered over the years. He'd been posted at a base in The Stan once; one of the base defense emplacements was a MK19 40mm auto nade launcher. Upon assuming duty at the station each soldier was to perform a function and maintenance check of the weapon. One guy managed to trigger off a 3 round burst INTO CAMP ! All 3 rounds traveled far enough to arm and they detonated----------- -NO INJURIES to anyone! Except his career.

plus some enabled extra keybinding , but in all that list i didn't see that they addressed the keyboard steering issue, but at 5GB it's a hefty patch, just my 2 cents worth i would love to see mouse steering implemented as in the borderlands series, game just keeps surprising me , hide in a trunk, ride a tractor, kick in a door and so far i haven't come across a locked section of the map as in FC4

Well whatever they did in this patch GREATLY helped the issues I was having. No more slow loading or pausing in the menus. The game itself seems to run a LOT better now when my guys is running around the world. Very happy I may be able to finally play this now! Now i have to decide which to play - GRW or MEA.... decisions, decisions... LOL @willy - I noticed they still didn't fix the cars. They swing like their butts are on a swivel . I think the best bet is trucks atm. The larger the truck the more "grip" or whatever it seems to have. Also they didn't fix the bug I reported to them about the map not appearing in the keybindings. That drives me nuts because I always use Tab for map in games (WSAD guy that I am) Still seems like the patch fixed something under the hood cause like I said it runs good for me now. The scary thing is the first DLC they are going to release is all about cars and racing (yuck! What is this fast and furious Bolivia style?) and I mean everyone has been griping about car and plane/heli controls from the beginning. Ubi what are you thinking??? Staff meeting: "What's the worst aspect of the game right now?" "Driving. Has to be driving." "Lets focus on that! Kids love cars with cool flame decals and all that jazz. Hell we can just grab a bunch of stuff from the Crew and port it over!" "Ummm isn't Ghost Recon Wildlands a game about tactical, stealth, modern elite forces?" "FIRE THAT GUY!"

glad the game is running better for you jr, 2c worth, the 4x4 seems to work somewhat of off road better dry than the street wet or dry,or the old stand by tractor, the only problem i have withe the heli is evading the frigging sams, lol i use it a lot to get around this humongous map, obtw, i decided to try to start the game with all the weapons am about 1/4 done with that, man so much to chose from, thinking of putting a Marcus gun vending machine in every town lol
