I must admit it's quite odd that is working only for me. Well if you have someone who's from Europe and also own Uplay versiion of this game you could ask him\ her to check this once more, because I'm really out of ideas. Anyway tnak you very much for your help all of you, not very often there is so much kindness at the Internet thank you! I fell like I did everything I could to solve auto reload problem and it's sorry to hear it's working only for me. And I will be waiting for your next modding masterpiece JRavens, your mods are incredible! Now time to go beeing annoyed by the eagles : P Take care of yourself guys!

To add to the discussion - I reverted the game back to vanilla 1.10.0, starting in Banapur. I wandered off, picked up an AK in a Karma fight, found and eventually purchased some ammo, and did the test - default vanilla - the gun auto reloaded, which is what I expected. I then put your file into the patch_hd, having first checked the setting as "00", repacked and repeated the test - no difference - the AK popped up just outside Banapur, I fired off 80+ rounds, then fired the rest, one shot at a time. It still auto-reloaded.r I can only conclude there is some version difference between your European version and out N.A. version, maybe build number, purchase vendor - something like that. I don't see the OS or processor type having any impact here - there would be many other issues were that the case.
Anyway, this is one to watch for!

Well, I have the Steam version, being situated in Europe, and for me it does not work, too.
Other features (faster moving speed) from the the same file, DO work.
I also tried some other features, like the changing the starter size of the bag (30) and wallet (250.000) and they weren`t accepted, too.
I can only assume that in the versions we are playing there is a different load order, that overwrites those data...

@ bontainer @ pjWell one of you have steam EU version other have NA version... I don't know why it's working just for me really it does. The only thing I can do is to make a short video on youtube to show that IS working really or add some photos to prove I'm running original Uplay version of the game. Even if it do not solve the problem itself, but if you want to I can prove it no problem Even just to let you know that is actually working.

No - that's not necessary at all, Maks! Everyone here believes you! Honestly! There are many strange happenings with FC4, and we have no explanation for them: yours is just another one in a long line! We appreciate your enthusiasm, and we'd all like to know why it's behaving this way. No - you just enjoy the game, my friend. Someone will come across the reason sooner or later.

I agree with pj 100% You went above and beyond in helping us by providing all the information. We really appreciate it. For now it's just another weird mystery. We'll stumble across the answer some day. Just enjoy your game without that reloading Thanks so much. If you have more questions or ideas we'll always be here. PS - hmmm one final thought and question - I wonder did you change anything in your gamerprofile.xml maybe something in there + the setting in pawnplayer file is making it work. I've only recently found out there were settings in the gamerprofile.xml that I didn't even realize Ubi had added...

maybe i am getting it wrong, but he did mention (The only one file I edited "handly" was GamerProfile in Documents\ MyGames section) so perhaps that what needs to be looked at? my 3 cents

I took a look at it, Willy, but didn't spot anything obvious... 'course - I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other much of the time....

There was someone asking on the Ubi forums asking if auto-reload could be enabled through GamerProfile.xml I didn't think there was, but then again I didn't think you could disable the prompts through there either so what do I know Maybe it's undocumented or worse maybe it's innocuous and only works in conjunction (by intent or bug) with the no auto-reload in the files. Still something seems really weird about this one... dunno. Let me know if anyone finds anything useful.

I added "AutoReload="1" to both EditorGamerProfile and GamerProfile.xml's, with no result, then changed it to "AutoReloadDisabled="1" and got the same result. I'll try "DisableAutoReload="1" tomorrow. Fresh vanilla game.

No, I also do not think that might have any influence over turning out auto reload, but you can grab it from me, no problem Since pj said "There are many strange happenings with FC4, and we have no explanation for them" I know that with THIS game nothing can be considered as fully unquestionable. thks maks,(that's a load off for me no worries bro, pj, i took a look at it last night also, didn't see anything but various settings, when i get home i will try deleting the line as it looks like that hasn't been tried yet ? as u know i am still learning , but when i compared 153129968707904202.ark.fcb open world to the one in the entityarchtypeliberary from Jane there was a difference in the structure around line 1977 above and below ?

I did change the line for bAutoDraw to False, and it is nice to not be looking at your weapon at the ready, when leaving an outpost store, or truck nice to run and just see 2 empty hands, also was able to knife throw and melee, toss Molotov and grenade with out having it go back to a weapon so far , using my mouse wheel to cycle thru my weapons brought it back, but the rest didn't at least not yet still haven't filled out all the skill sets yet
lol after posting this went back to the game and something just killed me from behind, jeez

Yeah autodraw works (I am going to be doing a holstering mod with it - thanks for preempting my secret project Willy! lol just kidding) A lot of people have wanted holstering and autodraw *kind* of works for this. You just swing your machete and the gun will be holstered. Unfortunately it's not the easiest thing in the world to play with as Ajay (obviously) doesn't automatically draw his weapon after every action. So if you get in/out of a vehicle,in/out of the water, use a syringe, loot, etc. etc. you have to redraw his weapon. I like the realism, but it does make the game much more difficult and some would find it annoying (as it can get you killed) I am going to release a small mod with this and autoreload shut off on the the weapons for people that want more "realism". It will also be a part of my super super secret project which you definitely cannot reveal! So careful with those "discoveries" PS - congrats: achievement get - you are now officially a modder! (you found and implemented a change to the game)
