I am hoping someone might take a look at this rather simple plug-in mod:
www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2291/?
and see if it works for them. You'll note there are no install instructions, so I am assuming the .esp file should be installed as others are.
I posted a ? on Nexus, plus a PM to the modder - with no success.
The night person rank 2 perk isn't designed correctly - it gives you night vision regardless of the TOD when in sneak, whether in- or out-doors. This mod addresses that issue reportedly. Apparently it works, but it doesn't for me, and I have a small number of plug-in files working just fine.

I checked the esp. The problem is, that all abilities in Skyrim and FO4 (both use the same engine) are based on spells, e.g. a perk is nothing else but the activation of a spell.
So what this mod does is activate the "Night vision" spell when you wear the goggles. But the problem is, it will only work when you equip them for the first time..... seems to be made in China...
I haven`t found the reason for this yet.
Also, if you test a new mod, make sure that it is placed last in your modlist, e.g. at the bottom of the list...

Thanks Peter. I've placed this mod file at the bottom, as well as the top ...
What seems most troubling, is that I don't even get an option to craft these special goggles at the crafting station.

Waiting for the tool set to come out. I can't wait to craft my own HI REZ dirt texture (or was that door knob--they both start with d).

I'd just like someone who has placed mods into their game to try this one, and see if it works for them; can they craft the NV goggles, for example. I've looked at everything I know to do, and it simply isn't "there", while the other, rather simple ones, are.
