willyr1100, that is a great source of info on brightening my quasi-sword, which is actually a very long bayonet, I have held back for fear of damaging it, tho it is at most 100 years old, which ain't much for swords. But I like it, and am careful with it. I may try the brasso, as my blade which I kept shiny bright for 50 years that I have had it, is now dull grey color, due to someone's neglect while borrowed.
Thanks for sharing that. I would not recommend those methods to valuable ancient swords even older than me, heh. But I am inexperienced.
PS: the sword they show in the first picture on that first page is almost exactly like my bayonet, you will notice the swelling of the hilt guard where the barrel goes thru it, mine is in much better shape than that one tho.

Jr, using a plastic trap i believe will lead to more rust as there is no air flow, so any moisture trapped inside will lead to more rust in a hurry , if u decide to use that method, use a desiccant bag or 2 to adsorb moisture and coat the blade with a thin coat of oil and wrap each blade separate u could also use silicone cloth depending on the length, i use that method for my .30 American Eagle Luger which is a Little bit over 100 and still in nice condition
i liked Jack Palance, just before he died he did a characterization of cancer, made u really hate it, Denzel is good to, liked him in the movies Man on Fire, Safe & Flight

Sorry, this had to be done to quench my childish tendencies... You know you'll only be memorialized if you get the last post too?

OMG, Gyrocopters EXIST! I wonder if YETIs do too!!! Check out CNN, one landed on mall at Capitol, in USA. ALMOST exactly like one in FC4, I thought they were made up. So unreal when I saw it I was waking from nap, thought I was dreaming.

Latest Ubisoft update has once again ruined my XP counter, looks like another fresh start. Hope that this is the last time that they update.

Jimbo:
I assume you mean that the XP number is higher than the threshhold number (e.g. 1200/1000) and you do not get skill points.
If this is the case, that is normal. Standard FC4 has lower XP threshholds, in opposition to the much higher thresholds of the 18 and 20 mods.
If you change mods and earn your next XP, you will get a massive amount of skill points at once. If you change back you will not get any more skill points until the limit is reached. This can show as much as 35000/2000 or even higher. Once you have reached the threshhold everything will go back to normal again and you will get skill points.
Anyway after some time the gamewill catch up.

Thanks bontainer, I will see what happens. I think I was up to 27,000. I also noticed that when purchasing ammo for an LMG it wanted me to buy 300 rounds when I was only 4 rounds short

So unreal when I saw it I was waking from nap, thought I was dreaming. Yup they do, TO! Check out this site - home for the Mosquito series of ultralights. The one Ajay flies is not a gyrocopter - it is an ultralight helicopter which appears to have fixed pitch blades, (but maybe has full collective as most do) and driven from the engine by flex cable, with a normal anti-torque rotor at the back end.. His machine looks like the "Air" model, plus some additions - but it might equally be a homebuilt of some similar design. pj
