Here's another mod (well technically a map though I did have to use some tricks to create it). This ones only a few years old. My son got me playing minecraft with him for a while and my nephew created one of the most popular maps of all time for minecraft (Skyblocks) so I had to take a crack at creating some kind of survival themed map:

Got pretty good reviews from most folks who played it. Even got some YouTubers to showcase it so it was a really good experience. Sadly minecraft just doesn't have long lasting appeal to me.
