While the membership is still relatively small, I think it'd be interesting in knowing which mod folks are playing, or playing the most.
For example, I'm playing hardcore (0.18.1), with a game (patch 1.8) setting of Hard

Ubi v10 base with JR's v1.8.0 files over top: Hard level. Then HC v0.18.1-8-0-1 release applied, plus JR's "No Bus" mod, Bontainer's "Shop System" mod, plus the Lip Synch Fix. At the moment I'm saving up to buy a silencer for the Sig....

Changed back to Ubi 1.10.0 with JR's 19X last night, because the XP points stopped being recorded again. They now appear ok, and so will add in Ceano's mod configuration plus the "No Bus" mod if that will work.

With not recorded I assume you mean that the XP number is higher than the threshhold number (e.g. 1200/1000) and you do not get skill points.
If this is the case, that is normal. 19 has the standard XP counting, in opposition to the much higher thresholds of the 18 and 20 mods.
If you change mods and earn your next XP, you will get a massive amount of skill points at once. If you change back you will not get any more skill points until the limit is reached. This can show as much as 35000/2000 or even higher. Once you have reached the threshhold everything will go back to normal again and you will get skill points.

Thanks Bontainer: I thought I had read this in a post a while ago, but couldn't remember. Willy has it right! This one is confusing, and is a real pain. Is there no place to "normalize" them to what was, prior to the change?

The idea in HC was to set much higher XP treshholds for the next level, just because it is hardcore. On the other hand, to make it easier to reach those higher levels, XP are awarded for gathering plants, or for skinning animals. In this way you have different alleys to gather XP. You don`t have to finish quests or chase trucks to get your points.

Hey guys,
Sorry for a newbie question, but where do I go to grab the restored lip sycnh and no bus intro mod? Additionally, do I need to combine it in anyway with other mods (I'm only using the HC v1.9) or is it just added files that needs to be included in the folder?
Thank you!

Don't apologise for asking a newbie question, Peank; everybody here was a newbie at one time or another! Here's the link to the Modding forum, there's a bunch to read (and learn!) (but it will come with a bit of practice). Bontainer has created some pretty good "starter" how-to's (including "Modding 104", which has the LipSynch fix), and JR has posted the "No Bus" mod about two threads below that one. Just ask away - someone will help! pj

The mod versions only work with game versions of the same number. E.g. hardcore 1.8 will only work with game version 1.8
For the game versions 1.9 and 1.10 you can use either Hardcore v0.19 BETA (if you want to play Yeti) of HC19X, which has more functions but will not work with Yeti.
