Hello all. Is there a way to rename objects that are already in the editor? I've tried taking "Exterior Wall 01" and included all of the necessary files in my mod as if it was not already available in the editor and named it "my wall" as the display name in the object inventory XML file. Loading the map editor with my mod shows the additional item I have added ("my wall") but when I replace the patch files with original ones and load the map, ("my wall") is there but it appears as the default item "Exterior Wall 01" which means it will appear for everyone in their editor.
How can I accomplish this?

Hii mark You can not change something and expect the others who dont have your mod, will have the same results It's pretty much like my reskinned enemies. If you are using my Editor Mod, all your enemies will be black colored instead of red. But when I publish the map with those black soldiers and someone else without my mod is playing the map, they will be red colored again (like default). So this means, with your mod you are overwriting the existent text from "Exterior Wall 01" to "my wall" and you can see it, because you have your mod installed. Another thing is my flyable blackhawk "Fino's Blackhawk" in the mod: This one is a new and self created archetype, where I was able to create the object and let them store all needed informations into the later created map itself. In this case, you can place "Fino's Blackhawk" in a map, and those people without my mod are still able to fly with and see it as "Fino's Blackhawk" Long story short: If you only rename an existent object in object_inventory.xml, only those people with your mod will be able to see your name - but everyone can still see the object. Greetings, Fino
