Hello all...this may seem a bit silly but does anyone have a "vanilla" object inventory file? I'm trying to compare mods and deleting lines to try and create one but my program keeps freezing. Hopefully someone has one?
Thanks!

Hmmm...unfortunately I don't think the one you attached is original. I say this because some items are still added in. For example, in a fresh install of fc4 there is only one alder tree where as the one you attached has 2. There are some other items in the attached file that are not included as options in the map editor by defailt as well. Did you possibly attach the wrong file?

There are two diffrent "original" versions. One is a version from the patch.dat/fat and one is from common.dat/fat. I took the one from the common archive, because xml file in the common archive is about 100KB bigger in size. So yes, it could be possible that you have two trees or anything more ... and it's still the original document EDIT: Why not just unpack the patch and common archive for yourself and grab the specific file you need?

Why not just unpack the patch and common archive for yourself and grab the specific file you need? Thanks fino. I didn't realize there was an object inventory file in patch.dat. I had looked inside patch_hd for it before and didn't find it. I've got it now plus it helped me understand a bit more now including the file from common.dat with the contents of the unpacked patch_HD works as expected. Thank you.
