Hi, everyone. Can someone tell how to change weapons NPCs carry? I changed up the _UNKNOWN/game fcb files (the part where it declares Inventory) but to no effect. Thanks!

Never quite sorted this out properly. We tried changing them in a variety of ways and it caused occasional crashes when an enemy carrying a changed weapon showed up on screen. Pretty sure in the end I found the ark numbers for the weapons buried in the CEF file (shooter prefs?) and was going to try switching them there, but never actually tested it. I think it may even be a combo of changing it there AND in the ark file for the enemy as well... it was of course a lot easier in FC3

There is a way (not the correct way like JRavens says, but is something)
1.In the Entity Archetype Browser search this word _NPC
2._NPC are the name of the NPC's weapons, open the weapon you want to change, erase all the code, and add the code of the weapon you want
3.Compile and test.

Hahaha Predaaator This reminds me of my Singleplayer-Blackhawk for exploring the SP world, I replaced the Buzzers archetype code with the code for my flyable blackhawk ..and yea it's not a "nice" way, but like you are saying: "at least it is something"
