Heh well put together. A stretch, but not really a long one. I like it. There's a lot of nods in 4 back to 2 and 3 and all the games definitely could share the same universe (why wouldn't they really?). I always wanted to change the Kyrati drug packets to match the pirate ones as a nod that Pagan supplied Hoyt with his drug shipments. willyr1100 - yep I think South America too. You have plenty of foliage, predators, ruins (Incans, Aztecs, Toltecs, etc.), mountains, etc. Plus a rainforest environment is perfect for the inevitable dinosaur DLC. The only thing I think that might dissuade this is unfavorable comparisons by media outlets and fans comparing it against FC1 and FC3's tropical islands and not moving far enough away in a new direction (which frankly doesn't bother me personally in the least - I loved the north island in FC3 skulking about in the jungle so hey no complaints there).

I can only think of 2 different direction locations, the Antarctic and the Sahara desert, pretty bland imho, lol that would be cool to see the Pagan Hoyt connection somewhere in FC3 FC2 was to bleak and depressing color wise for me, even for Africa, never been there though so can't say for sure , love the jungle environment of the islands, just need to get a better video card to use the ultra settings

Yeah a lot of people have suggested antarctic and desert (Egypt seems popular), but like you pointed out too bland and Far Cry really prides itself in showing off the latest GFX technology by using vegetation. Although sifting sand or snow might be something they try to show off I would find it hard to believe them departing so far from heavy foliage. They love having areas to show off all the RealTree stuff. Sadly though each game uses less and less physics when it comes to the plants and trees. I miss how in FC2 you could actually blow apart branches. Even in 3 there were still some plants you could use an MG to trim. FC4 plants all seem impervious to everything but fire. Dammit games give me Crysis 1 level physics back! I want to blow shit apart LOL

I also think it might be South America, they already have the graphics for jungle and mountains down, and it cries for a lost world scenario. Something akin to Tomb Raider 1.
