Hello everyone, hope i'm posting this in proper place, couldn't find a FAQ or problems section.
Anyhoo.... I've downloaded the jvarne's Attachments Mod (with scope addition i believe), the game works fine, the name changes and all is okay, but i don't see the messages like to open doors, loot, skin, enter vehicle or such. I googled and scoured the places but i couldn't find a solution or anyone else having the same issue. Am i missing something obvious? Thank you in advance!

Welcome!!
IIRC, all of the mods created by the author disable the interactive prompts built into the game. Thus it helps to be familiar with the core interface system of the Far Cry series starting with 3.

It's a bit annoying not being able to see if i'm looting or picking up or skinning. Also, is the game harder with these changes in this mod? I'm having a feeling enemies hit lot harder.

If you look at the downloads tab on Nexus there are many multiple versions of the mod. This is because so many people wanted X feature or Y feature, but didn't like Z feature and so on. It just became too tiresome to try and juggle so many versions of so many mods - which led to me eventually tapering off support for them.
Far Cry is not setup to allow easy "modular" adding of changes like say Skyrim or Fallout. Everything has to be shoved into 1 patch file in order for you to see the changes in game.
I honestly do not remember which ones do or don't have the prompts removed. No there is no easy way to turn them on. It requires modifying many, many lines in the Oasis file. Some of the versions have higher damage for the guns, but those are labeled on the downloads page.
Unfortunately I don't know when (or even if) I will return to those FC4 mods.
