Ok the season pass does sound pretty dope. Here's why.

They are going all out on the Far Cry 5 season pass. Can they pull it off? No idea, but here is what we gots.
Besides access to a remaster of Far Cry 3* the Far Cry 5 season pass will include THREE (3) sub-game DLCs in the vein of Blood Dragon or Valley of the Yeti. No idea if these will be as LARGE as those previous sub-entries, but it seems likely any ways.
This sounds great if they are all of decent size and content (PLEASE Ubi make that content available to map makers as well!)
* RE: Far Cry 3 remaster. This is stated as remastered for next gen consoles and frankly the graphics look like the higher end PC graphics in the existing game. Ubisoft wrote the byline like this - "Re-experience the thrill of the Far Cry 3 single player campaign with Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, available for free in the Far Cry 5 Season Pass on PS4 and Xbox One. Far Cry 3 available on PC."
That last bit about "Far Cry 3 available on PC." seems to me like they are saying oh hey it's already available to PC owners so we aren't doing any remastering for that platform. As this is just an "added benefit" for season pass owners I'm dubious about just how in depth the port will be. I'm suspecting that they simply ported the existing XBOX 360 and PS3 versions and upgraded the graphics settings slightly to what those consoles can handle. I would LOVE to be wrong though and see a true and correct remaster on one of the newer updates of the Dunia Engine.
