Anyone who has looked at the coding, a question:
Any way to determine what might have been the intent should Ajay give them money (it's 1,000)? I assume it should reward with kp, but as far as I can tell, nothing takes place.
Simply a general question.

We had discussed this topic once, and also came to the same conclusion, but the solution is hidden somewhere in the unreadable files, so, no joy.

I took another look not too long ago (when I made the unlock north discovery) and it looks like you were supposed to get a free ammo refill the next time you hit a shop, but I'm fairly certain this does not work correctly. If you ever have the chance to test it though Mike please do (give beggar cash and proceed without fast travel to the closest store / weapon cabinet / sherpa... hmmm in fact maybe this ONLY works with one of the store types - i.e. the shop or the sherpa) EDIT - Also I tried to change this to a KP reward but it didn't work. The .lua files are still wonky about what they will accept and won't which is shame

I'll watch for an opportunity - but of course the idea that you need to go/do something immediately defeats the purpose of giving the randomly encountered beggar some money as simply a good deed within the game.
BTW, in OW, the vanilla prompts are displayed when you approach him.

Question: I know this is an old thread/post, but exactly how do you give money away? Is there an option or keyboard key for it?
Why I want to know: What happen is I naively used an option (in single player) to increase the in-game money... basically, I screwed myself because now every time I start my game, the wallet/money is maxed out and I can't collect money/loot rewards or sell stuff... and every time I buy something to decrease the money, it is maxed out again.

To be specific, it's pre-scripted as to how much money you give to an encountered beggar - at 1,000 Rupees. You, the player, don't determine how much to give.
Others I'm sure can point to the specific coding issues that are causing your situation.

Ahhh, scripted amount, ok. Mmmm, that's probably not going to help me anyway, but thanks for letting me know.
