Hmmm... a few questions:
Which damage mod did you download and try to add? (All 3 of them *should* be ok for the shop file)
I'm assuming your game is up to date with official version 1.10
Are you using a previous save? Have you tried loading one of the optional save games included in the open world mod?

Hi JRavens,
Just did some tests. I tried with very high and increased damage attachment mods, both were tested with an existing save, the post prologue save and, the first outpost save.
In all 6 combinations the game crashes immediately when opening the shop.
Official version 1.10

I can confirm this, JR. I replaced the savegame with the 1.10 Banapur Start.
I unpacked the Open World Immersive Mod, including The North lua. I unpacked the Attachments Unlocked VERY HIGH Damage v1.10.2 I copied that Attachment patch_hd_unpack folder onto the Open World patch_hd_unpack folder, answering "yes" to all. I then packed the new combined patch_hd_unpack. I deleted the original patch_hd.dat and fat pair from the game data_win32 folder, and then copied in the new patch_hd pair into it's place.
The game starts as normal but within a second of hitting the "Trade" (or whatever is used here) - she blackscreens - crashed.

Yeah I ran some tests too. Looks like the game isn't happy about the ACE being active in one mod and not the other... OK Plan B - I added some loose files to the Open World mod you can add for increased damage. These will work (I tested them) without crashes because they don't touch the shop files: Increased Damage: www.nexusmods.com/farcry4/download/129HIGHER Damage (more than the increased one above): www.nexusmods.com/farcry4/download/130Take either of those and add the contents to a FRESH unpacked copy of open world mod. Ditch whatever you were working on before because the files are messed up. Sorry for the bad advice before. I thought they would be more compatible. PS - No Nightmare damage because bontainer changed the ammo types around a bit to reflect cartridge size (9mm, 7.62mm, etc.) and I think without the other changes from the nightmare mod it will be too confusing to players ("why does such and such pistol fire SMG ammo" etc)

I just came back here after playing around, JR - so I haven't looked at adding in the loose files.
Removing the above fixes the issue - and yes - the Sig/ACE wasn't VisibleInInventory (it was a "0") and the groupings were all set to "255", so I changed that, too, so it's now visible. I would have to do a bit more work to get it's grouping correct, but you probably want to do that yourself tonight or tomorrow.
Bye!

I don't think switching it on or off will make any difference for weapons. Well at least I can still see it in the weapons wheel, etc. with it off. The 255's are all set correctly in the open world shop file, but incorrectly in the attachments mod so if you drug that over then the shop entry for the ACE will be messed up. Hence the loose files. I decided it was safer to just change the entity ark files and leave the shop (and related F2D file) alone. Far Cry sure is touchy about things. I guess it's better to hard crash at the shop then just not work and have no idea WHY it's not showing up in the game...

Hi JRavens, sorry for the delay only just go time to test, thanks for the files, working now with original save with both high and higher damage where the ACE was already purchased, no more crashing. Thanks again.

Not sure if I'm adding the loose files correctly ... I added the 'no eagle', 'even more damage' and the 'increased prices' and I can see that the increased prices one seems to work. But the other two I'm not sure about. I've encountered three eagles already and I just freed up the first tower. Also, damage still seems weak. On a side note: I killed an eagle with an arrow and received....wait for it....1500 kp. Is that normal? ?? I initially get 20 kp and then it adds 1500 kp. Thanks and good to be back! Update: Yeah, I'm sure I did not add that eagle file correctly as they just won't stop badgering me.

So I think there something funny going on with the spawns because another person reported that they kept being attacked by eagles. For whatever reason that file seems to be ignored (here we go again Ubi). Not 100% sure what is up with that. Damage - try firing single shots into a parked car tire and see how many it takes. You should be able to blow them out in 3-4 rounds or less with the higher damage ARs etc. If it takes way more then that then damage is vanilla. If you feel YOU (the player) are not taking enough damage then I probably forgot to add the enemy weapons into the higher damage packs (doht!) That is weird about the Eagle and karma points. You got that when you KILLED it or when you grabbed the feathers? I am thinking maybe there is an extra zero in the shop file where it doesn't belong

Also, any idea when you'll be fixing these. I know you're busy but I'm curious is all. Thanks!

JRavens, will vehicles appear randomly in this mod as it did in previous ones? They are supposed to, but it's controlled by the same file as the Eagles so if that file is not working... What if I just added your "No Eagle" mod and merged it with the open world? Also, any idea when you'll be fixing these. I know you're busy but I'm curious is all. Thanks! Sorry work has gotten extreme on me in the last few weeks. I'm facing overload and struggling just to keep my sanity there. Subsequently when I do actually game it's been Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and of course the modder in me can't leave it well enough alone so I have been modding some things in that. I sort of dropped the ball on FC4 again. Haven't even talked bontainer or pj in a week or two (you guys still out there??) Maybe I can find some time to take a look at some of these things. Someone else said the shop file isn't working Valley of the Yeti either so something is seriously jacked up with the mod again. Maybe I uploaded the wrong file?!? The game didn't get yet another update from Ubi did it??

Hi JR! Nope: I'm logged in each day by Mozilla default, and I do check the new comments and PM's, but my heart is not here anymore. I've done almost half of the CEF file, but the absolute quiet here is deafening, and it impacts my interest - hence I just decided to move on.
Another day - another game!
All the Best,
pj

Second PJ's comments. Have returned to Ziggy's latest mod, and awaiting his nightmare cut.
It's simply a shame that FC4's coding is so messed up as it relates to modding.
